I Doubt God Can Use Me

Don’t let a doubt determine a detour.

God uses people who know they need His and His to fulfil His .

⁸ God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. ⁹ Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. ¹⁰ For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Gideon son of Joash was threshing wheat at the bottom of a winepress to hide the grain from the Midianites. ¹² The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, “Mighty hero, the Lord is with you!” (Judges 6:11-12)

¹⁵ “But Lord,” Gideon replied, “how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family!” (Judges 6:15)

¹² Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say. (Exodus 4:11-12)

You’ve seen the Operation Christmas Child boxes around the church. It’s that time of year to put together a box of goodies. This is a great outreach opportunity for all ages in the church to participate in evangelism and generosity. Grab a box or use your own shoebox. Drop off your boxes at Crossroads on November 9th.

NIGHT OF REMEMBRANCE

Heaven’s Hands is a local ministry that helps families grieving pregnancy/infant loss by providing a place to commemorate and honor the life of their sweet baby. We invite you to join us at the Heaven’s Hands Memory Garden on Tuesday, October 28, at 6:30 p.m. for a “Night of Remembrance” where we recognize our babies who have gone too soon. There is no charge for this event, but please help us know how many to plan..
