8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere — in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
1. Be more than a .
35 Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” (Matthew 9:35-38)
Compassion should make me .
10 Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. (Psalm 46:10)
2. Live with purpose.
18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
We have all been called to be .
3. Be in the great harvest.
13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? 15 And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” (Romans 10:13-15)
4. for more workers.
8 Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)

NEW HERE?
We’re so glad you’ve chosen to come to Crossroads today! We want to thank you for visiting and would love to get to know you. Stop by and say hello at one of our Welcome Centers, our First Step area, or check out ecrossroads.info for more. We can’t wait to meet you!
MISSION TRIPS
Mission trips create space for all of us to rally around people faithfully loving and serving like Jesus as they determine how to help and bring hope to their community. If you are interested in serving on a mission trip, check out these opportunities.
MISSIONARY PARTNERS
Spreading the gospel around the world helps fulfill the Great Commission. Therefore, we tithe 10% of our offerings to our mission team, who faithfully financially supports 26 missionary partners across the globe. Check out our mission walls at both campuses. You can also see our partners online.
IT’S MY SERVE
Jesus modeled it. We’re called to live it. The outflow of a saved life is hands that serve others. This 4-week series will remind us that Jesus has equipped and called each of us to serve in our church, in our community, and across the globe. If you are interested in serving at Crossroads, take a look at our serving opportunities. At both of our campuses, seek out the Yes Boards to fill out a card to let us know where you want to get in the game.
DISCIPLEMAKER TRAINING
We want to invite you to our next disciplemaker gathering on Sunday, August 25th from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Cafe area of the South campus. This is for anyone who is currently discipling someone, curious about discipling someone, or serving in any of our ministries. It will be a time of encouragement, vision casting, and practical training. We will break into two groups. There will be new content for those who were at the past trainings, and we will cover some of the basics for those interested in discipling someone. Hope to see you there!
