10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. (1 Corinthians 1:10)

20 “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. 21 I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. 22 “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. 23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. (John 17:20-23)

 

Fighting for Unity:

 

1. Know our .

12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)

     Don’t let my divide us.

 

2. Know our .

     Unity does not mean .

     Our unity impacts Jesus’ .

18 Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. (John 17:18)

1 Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. (Romans 14:1 NIV)

 

3. Make every .

1 Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. 2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. 3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. (Ephesians 4:1-3)

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

We also recognize that today may be a day of sorrow and pain for some. We pray you feel the comfort of God today. There will be a special moment in the gathering where you can acknowledge any heartache as we celebrate how important moms are to us!

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL CAMP

If you’re going into 7th through 12th grade you don’t want to miss our camp at Epworth this summer! The middle and high school summer camp will be from Sunday, July 7 through Friday, July 12, at Epworth Forest Conference Center in North Webster. Register before June 1st for a price break.

RE|ENGAGE MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT GROUP

This summer we will be launching three re|engage groups starting June 2nd and 23rd at our South campus and August 4th at our Downtown campus. Take your marriage to the next level by learning more about God’s design for it and connecting with other couples. Learn more & sign up.

PRAYER ROOM IS ALWAYS OPEN

God calls us to pray about everything, but sometimes, it’s difficult to find the words on our own. Today, we will be offering prayer at the end of our gatherings. Did you know that our prayer teams are ready to help you bring anything to the Lord every week? You can come to the prayer room at the back of the auditorium after each gathering and we will pray with you and for you.
