¹⁶ And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. ¹⁷ He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. (John 14:16-17)

⁸ And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. (John 16:8)

¹² “There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now. ¹³ When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. (John 16:12-13)

He is my personal .

¹⁶ So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. ¹⁷ The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. ¹⁸ But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. (Galatians 5:16-18)

¹⁴ For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. (Romans 8:14)

²⁵ Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. (Galatians 5:25)

3 Ways the Holy Spirit guides us:

⁶ Next Paul and Silas traveled through the area of Phrygia and Galatia, because the Holy Spirit had prevented them from preaching the word in the province of Asia at that time. (Acts 16:6)

3. Walking in .

To be led by the Holy Spirit I need to be for Him.

¹⁰ Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. (Psalm 143:10)

EMPOWERED CONFERENCE

We have a great opportunity for students sixth through twelfth grade and the significant female in their lives to connect. This female influencer can be moms, grandmothers, aunts, or stepmoms. Empowered: Connecting Mothers and Daughters will be hosted by nine12 and ignite on February 24th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at South campus. Cost is $30 for a mom/daughter ticket and an additional $10 for a family ticket. Registration will close on February 12th. For more information and sign up.

MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTATION

If you have a hurt, habit, or hang-up and you’re wondering if you need to meet with a counselor, we can help. A group of mental health professionals in Crossroads are willing to help you figure out your next step. They will meet with clients at Downtown campus on the 2nd weekends and at South campus on the 3rd weekends for a one-time consultation. If you’re interested in getting some help, fill out our consultation form.

These household items are things like deodorant, paper towels, and soap.
