A Divided Heart

19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. (Matthew 6:19-20)
21 “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.” (Luke 12:21)
21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. (Matthew 6:21)
My heart will follow what I .
Will I choose to in Jesus even it’s hard?
22 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. 23 But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is! 24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. (Matthew 6:22-24)
Will I trust Jesus more than I trust ?
25 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life — whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 28 “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? 31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. (Matthew 6:25-32)
Worry is the product of my desire to have control instead of Jesus.
33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. 34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. (Matthew 6:33-34)

What’s Happening at Crossroads
NEW HERE?
We’re so glad you’ve chosen to come to Crossroads today! We want to thank you for visiting and would love to get to know you. Stop by and say hello at one of our Welcome Centers, our First Step area, or check out ecrossroads.info for more. We can’t wait to meet you!
GUATEMALA MISSIONS TRIP
Right now, we have 22 Crossroads students and staff at the Casa Bernabe Orphanage in Guatemala for a missions trip. Please be in prayer for team unity, for God to mold each team member’s heart, flexibility, safe travels, safety while working on projects and playing with the kids, protection from illnesses and injuries, for God to use the team to show His love to the staff and children, and for each person to receive what God wants them to learn.
STUDENT CAMP REGISTRATIONS
Why should your student go to camp? A change of routine, being away from home and distractions, and having Godly people speak into their lives creates a unique opportunity for campers to learn and grow in their faith. Register for our Middle & High School Camp for 7th through 12th graders! It is coming up on Sunday, July 16th, through Friday, July 21st. To sign up here.
PRAYER ROOM IS OPEN
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6 NIV). God calls us to pray about everything, but sometimes it’s difficult to find the words on our own. Our prayer teams are ready to help you bring anything to the Lord. Come to the prayer room at the back of the auditorium anytime during worship, and we will pray with you and for you.
EXPLORE A NEW ROUTE TO CHURCH
Heads up! Highway 931 will be closed between Center Road and Highway 26 beginning July 5th. It is expected to be closed in both directions for 90 days.
