- How often does Jesus say “peace to you” in the Bible? What does it mean to stand in the presence of Jesus? How would you describe the nature of unbelief? Why were the disciples startled and frightened? What troubles and doubts might have been on their hearts? (v.36-43)
- What are several of the prophecies from the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms that were to be fulfilled? What does it mean to have “their minds opened”? Who do you know that needs to hear “that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead”? (v.44-46)
- What does it mean to proclaim repentance for the forgiveness of sins? Is there a formula? Does repentance have to be articulated? How do I demonstrate repentance in my life to others?
