 Ephesians 6:13-17

Paul encourages us to put on the armor of God

We can be equipped with armor for everyday life

Paul encourages us to put on the helmet of

 “Take the helmet of salvation….” Ephesians 6:17

What is the helmet of salvation? our

 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (NIV)

How do we get it? by

 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God– [9] not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephes. 2:8-9 (NIV)

What does this helmet of salvation protect us from? and

The Lord is my light and my salvation– whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life–of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 (NIV)

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and a sound mind. II Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

What does our helmet of salvation free us to do? Live with and confidence.

let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:22 (NIV)

Let us put on the Helmet of Salvation and with faith and confidence boldly Jesus
