Title: “Checklist” Part 2

(Matthew 25:13 NLT) So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return.

Four Horses of Revelation 6:

  1. The White Horse: Disruption and Deception (Revelation 6:2)
  2. The Red Horse: Fear and Violence (Revelation 6:4)
  3. The Black Horse: Economic collapse (Revelation 6:5-6)
  4. The Pale Horse: Disease and Death (Revelation 6:8)

5. Run with prayer. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV) 16Rejoice always, 17 pray continually18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ

(Hebrews 4:16 NLT) So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. 

A.C.T.S

  • A – Adoration
  • C – Confession
  • T – Thanksgiving
  • S- Supplication

(Mark 1:35 NIV) Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

ACTION: I understand prayer is the difference between the best I can do, and the best God can do.

6. Run with thankfulness. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

ACTION: What I have is more than enough.

(Psalms 23:1 NLT) The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.

Yahweh – Jewish Scribes would take “mikveh” (a ritual bath) before they would even pen the Yahweh.

7. Run with discernment. (1 Thessalonians 5:19-20)

“Discernment is necessary for the understanding of spiritual realities in everyday life on a practical level.”

(Luke 21:28 NLT) “So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!”

  • ACTION: I will go through life looking up, not around.

8. Run with wisdom. (1 Thessalonians 5:21-22)

(Proverbs 9:10 NIV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

“Knowledge is horizontal, but wisdom is vertical—it comes down from above.” ~Billy Graham

ACTION: I we walk in wisdom by applying the knowledge He has given us!

9. Run with vision. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)

  • ACTION: I don’t just need something to live on. I need something to live for.
