The process of humility isn’t fun, but the benefit is worth it.

The Beatitudes
He said:

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are those who mourn,

    for they will be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek,

for they will inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:5 NLT God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.

Psalm 37:11 NIV But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.

Psalm 37:11 NKJV But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalm 37:10  “Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. 9 For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. 10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. 11 But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.

Philippians 2:3-4 NIV Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
