Stephen didn’t set out to be a martyr. No, he set out to be like Jesus. But sometimes Christ-like living leads to Christ-like dying.

Stephen boldly shared his faith, even in a hostile environment. What are some fears that hold you back from sharing your faith with others?
Stephen faced opportunities to stay silent or play it safe but chose to speak out. Can you think of a time when you stayed silent or took a risk to stand up for your faith? What happened?
Stephen prayed for his persecutors even as they stoned him. How does his example of grace challenge you in how you respond to those who oppose or hurt you?
