Jesus chose to keep his scars. If he can rise from the grave, then he can erase scars. But he didn’t.

His scars say that your forgiveness isn’t free. It cost him dearly, but he offers it at a big discount! All it costs you is a turn and an ask.

1. The sermon mentioned that doubting is normal, and Jesus addressed the disciples’ doubts by showing his scars. Have you ever struggled with doubts about faith? Are they still there? How did you or how are you working through them?
2. Why do you think Jesus chose to keep his scars after rising from the dead? How do his scars show victory rather than failure?
3. Jesus’ scars remind us that “you’re not alone” and “everyone’s been broken.” How does knowing Jesus went through pain and betrayal help you in your own struggles?
4. Jesus’ purpose was give his life as a ransom (Matthew 20:28). How does understanding his sacrifice change the way you view his love for you?
5. In Luke 24:44–45, Jesus talks about how the Old Testament points to him. How does seeing Jesus as the center of the Bible affect the way you read or understand Scripture?
