Discussion Questions:

  1. Do you have a favorite Bible character whose story resonates with your story? What lessons have you learned that have impacted your life?
  2. Nehemiah faced severe opposition to his God-given purpose of rebuilding the wall. One of the schemes of his enemies was to mock his efforts. Today, how are Christians mocked for their faith? Have you personally experienced anything similar?
  3. Intimidation is a great way to sway someone off course. Has someone ever tried to intimidate you? Share that story.
  4. How does Satan use intimidate tactics to make you quit the race God has called you to run? What lies does he speak into your life?
  5. Why is isolation the special ingredient for temptation? How can close relationships help fight temptation?
  6. Nehemiah had a biblical response to each scheme of the enemy. How can you model his example in your life?
