1. What famous people have you met? Who is the most famous person you know?
2. Why do you think Jesus used a Samaritan as the hero in his story?
3. How can you be compassionate to people as a way to show them God’s love?
4. Are you ever hesitant to show compassion for fear that you will get run over or taken advantage of? Has this ever happened? Discuss.
5. Look at the Good Samaritan’s actions in Luke 10. Can you see any ways that he mixed prudence and compassion with the man in need?
