  1. Which of the 3 characters resonated the most with you? Lydia? The slave girl? The jailer?
  2. Lydia was acting religious but had no relationship with Jesus. Is that true still today?
  3. The slave girl was in double bondage and in need of rescue. How are people in bondage today?
  4. The jailer flat out asked, “How can I be saved?” What does this reveal about himself? And if you go back and read his story in Acts 16, what evidence do you find of a changed life after salvation?
  5. Share your defining moment of salvation.
  6. In the Christian life, Jesus is the real hero. Discuss.
