Discussion questions:

1. Discuss the character traits you see in Ebed-Melech found in Jeremiah 38.
2. One of the principles found in this story is that “Your character is the distance your habits carry you.” Do you believe this to be true? Discuss with your group.
3. Philippians 4:8-9 describes godly thoughts that should be turned into action. Go through these two verses and discuss the how you can both “fix your thoughts” on these attributes and “put them into practice.” How do these relate to habits we keep?
