Discussion Questions:

  1. What is the significance of the veil in the temple and the fact that it was torn from top to bottom?
  2. How does this symbolize access to God and what Jesus did on the cross?
  3. What evidence is there in the tomb story that proves Jesus really was dead? What does this say about his sacrifice on the cross?
  4. How would you respond if you were the one who found Jesus’ empty tomb? How would you respond if you were told about it from someone else?
  5. The purpose of the gospels is found in John 20:31. Read this verse. What does this statement say about the relationship between evidence and belief (faith)?
  6. How does eye witness testimony and first hand evidence affect your faith?
  7. Is there anyone you need to pray for who needs to hear this good news about Jesus? Pray for them this week and ask for an opportunity to share the evidence that they may believe.
