John 1:14 (ESV)

John 1:14 (ESV)- “Dwelt among us”

1. God became human… and

The Greek word for “dwelt” is the same word that describes the Old Testament tabernacle. Jesus tabernacled among us; He set up His tent in our camp.

Exodus 29:43-46 (NLT)

The tabernacle and then the temple represented God’s presence with his people.

Psalm 84:1-2,10 (ESV)

2. God became human… and

Jesus was literally on this earth, and He spent that time with people and traveling from place to place.

2. God became human… and

John 1:14 (ESV)- “We have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father”

John 12:23-24 (ESV)

3. God became human… and

As Jesus dwelt on earth, people got to see God’s glory.

John 1:14 (ESV)- “Full of grace and truth”

4. God became human… and

Each of those 43,000,000 steps was full of grace and truth.

Jesus showed grace to those who were willing to accept it. He showed them the truth that is found in who He is.
