- Open with prayer
- Share a time in your past where you learned a valuable lesson from a personal incident or from someone else’s life.
- The message talked about the importance of proper biblical interpretation (especially when the passage is difficult to understand). Why is this so important? How can you make sure you’re understanding the true meaning of certain Scripture passages?
- How would you define spiritual laziness? What do you think God continually warns us about it?
- One of the lessons from the message was that “You can be in the room but not present.” How is this true? Have you noticed this in your own life?
- Finally, how can we fight spiritual slumber?
- Close with prayer and info on your next meeting time.
