Jesus says “all authority has been given to me”- that’s a bold statement!
What is authority?
Authority is having the right to use power

The Bible proves it- he’s the creator of all things, sovereign over Satan and demons, has power over death, the boss of the church, and so much more.
The risen, reigning, King of Kings and Lord of Lords reigns over this world and over his mission with absolute sovereignty. Nothing is outside his sovereign will. Nothing is outside his sovereign will. If he is met with resistance, he either allows it for his purpose, or he overcomes it for his purposes. His sovereign purposes are never thwarted. – John Piper
