The Apostle Paul had a chance to say his last words in 67 AD. He wrote a final letter to Timothy before his execution.

2 Timothy 4:1-2a (NLT)

1)Tell people about !

It says we are to preach something specific— the Word!

Jeremiah 23:28-29 (NLT)

We have everything we need to point people to God.

To preach is to publicly proclaim!

2 Timothy 4:2b (NLT)

 

Paul is telling Timothy that when you’re telling others about Jesus…

2) Be a !

A bad friend doesn’t really care about the other and tells them what they want to hear. A good friend is willing to risk it to tell you like it is.

Proverbs 27:6,9-10 (NLT)

This must be a defining characteristic because people matter! They need to hear how Jesus can save them and how they are to live in obedience to Jesus.

3) Don’t just love Jesus, !

Many love the idea of Jesus, but they don’t really know him and aren’t truly following him. God is so much more than just a way to heaven.

Are you giving 100% in this life to the God who created you, or are you wasting it?

Giving 100% to Jesus is tough. It takes humility and sacrifice. But he tells us to rejoice and be glad, because we have a reward waiting when our time on this earth is finished.
