That ignition and that combustion happened in a very real way in Acts 2. We are living in a day of pep, promotions, and programs. The church is trying to make up with enthusiasm and organization what we do not have in Pentecostal power. We are hooked up to our own battery pack because we’re not really connected to our heavenly outlet! What was this power all about? I. The of Pentecost (1) Verse 1 says that Pentecost was “.” Why did God choose the Feast of Pentecost as the day to pour out His Spirit in this way? Here is the short answer: God has been His plan for the world in chronological order through the ancient Jewish .
