They come face-to-face with the one Person who could have made it work the way they wanted, but He . This just does not make . If Jesus loved them, then why did He wait and why does Lazarus ? II. Mary and Martha’s (17-37) Before Jesus reaches the house, Martha comes out and expresses her . We often can feel the same. Why did God heal relative and not mine? Why did God meet their need and not ? In the midst of the hurt, she still believed that she could ask God for and He would do it. We bounce back and forth like pinballs between sorrow and , and and faith. Emotions swirl. Ask God to give you a heart that breaks with heaviness when others . III. Jesus’ Purpose and (38-44) God sometimes waits for us to be before He moves. You will never encounter a situation in life in which God cannot be . For believers, there is another beyond the grave. For unbelievers, there is another beyond the grave. Do you believe this? (verse 26) Do you believe the specific doctrinal truth that Jesus is the and the life?
