Working of God

September 15, 2024

We are called to have an  faith.

Luke 17:1 NIV – Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. ”

Pride tells us:

  • We are the
  • We were
  • Our feelings are

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NIV  – But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Isaiah 48:10 NLT  – I have refined you, but not as silver is refined. Rather, I have refined you in the furnace of suffering.

  1. Sin easily  where there are no problems.
  2. Offense helps me  with Christ.
  3. Offense  my heart.

John 15:13 NIV –  Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

to be unoffendable out of  for others is ministry.

1 Peter 4:1 NIV  – Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.

Revelation 3:18 NLT –  So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.

What is the Holy Spirit saying to me?
