John 19:1-11

Question: Who really has the to put Jesus to death?

Appeasing one’s own conscience and the world, too, works.

Why was Pilate afraid?

Pilate seems to be the final judge and jury in the case of Jesus.

Jesus is the picture of meekness!

Jesus essentially tells Pilate that Jesus is the one allowing this to happen. 

Three implications of Jesus’ true authority:

A. Worship

B. Prayer

C. Obedience
