Christian Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

Introduction: 

How do you know for sure you are a Christian? 

If we answer that question by pointing to what we , then we have most likely answered it wrongly. 

It isn’t our great faith that counts — it is that our faith has the right !

When we celebrate the Lord’s Supper we are being to the Lord’s Command. 

The Lord’s Supper is for those who believe Jesus for their sins and freed them from sin, guilt, and punishment. 

Covenant of works: this and live 

Covenant of Grace: This is in Christ

The unity expressed in the Lord’s Supper is a unity of with Christ. 

Forgiven people forgive and love others the way they are in Christ. 

The Lord’s Supper is for Christians, and these are to themselves in preparation for the Lord’s Table. 

The Lord’s Table is not for those with sin in their lives. 

The normal pattern  is that baptism participation in the Lord’s supper.
