Does who you are match up with who you want to be?
Sadly, our and foolish behavior adorn our lives more than we want them to.
If one around us wants an excuse to the Christian faith — could they find that reason in our lives
Notice the text says that “” the Salt of the earth. There is not a command to be light — the text says YOU ARE the light of the earth.

Often, when we read scripture, we mistake indicatives for imperatives.
Indicative: Who you are because of what Christ has
Imperative: A or law
We often the two or we treat them as if they were the same thing.
In Matthew 5:13-16 the imperative isn’t until verse .
If we see imperatives in verses 13-14, then our become the determining factor as to whether people will see the Christian life as a viable option or not.
