Do not be Afraid
Jesus was about to lead the disciples to the Garden of
Being a Christian does not make us from the storms of life.
Christ Himself us into those storms.
Example: Mark 4 (Jesus calming the storm)
J.C. Ryle: “Jesus didn’t promise to leave the disciples an inheritance of money or influence or safety but he gives them, inward peace of conscience, arising from the sense of pardoned sin and reconciliation with God.”

Jesus gives us with God through Jesus Christ and experience it through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Threats to the Peace Jesus Brings:
— The hostility and brutality of an unloving

— Jesus’ leaving is not a threat to peace because of the ministry.
