John 14:4-6 – Comfort in the Way, the Truth, and the Life

Introduction: What are some things you long for?

We Gather because there is f with the risen Lord!

The Church is different than a social club…we gather around the who bled and died for us – who us to himself and us into his body in order that we might have with one another. 

What is so offensive about the gospel?

The key to understanding verse 4 is to read the section and then come back and read it

Inclusive: People are saved by the work of Jesus, but faith is required 

Exclusive: People are saved by the work of Jesus, but faith in Jesus alone required to save. 

Justification by Faith: We are made right with God through the instrument of alone

What about those who have never heard? This is why Jesus commissioned His church to to them with the gospel.
