The Parable of the Good Shepherd

This is such a great chapter!
Chapter 9 is on Jesus’ mind in this chapter!
The Old Testament is full of that speaks of God being a good shepherd!

The term sheepfold is used a couple of different ways:
a. on the country side which was a of rocks where the shepherd would lay across the opening (as the door).
b. In the village, there was a room with a gate to hold the sheep, and these were watched by the or porter.
In this passage, we see something of the: a. false leaders, b. the sheep, and c. something of Christ, the true shepherd.
