Wisdom is to FEAR GOD because it enables us to our Vocation

• Solomon was given everything only to realize it is ALL MEANINGLESS
• The only Purpose we find in life is to live to the Purpose God created us for
  • John 1:1-4
    • Jesus is the “Word,” or in Greek the “Logos” meaning the rational principle that governs the universe. All definition, meaning, and purpose derives from the Logos
    • Our Purpose to serve, worship, and trust in Jesus the only natural possibility to finding satisfaction and completeness

Gospel of Mark

  • The Gospel ends with the disciples in FEAR, AWE, and WONDER!

We serve what we worship, we worship what we stand in fear/reverence/wonder/awe of

If we don’t worship, trust, or serve God like we should, then we are not in a rightful awe as we should (I.E. God is not big enough in our life)

The Heart of Wisdom

1. A Heart that is and (Vs. 6)
   1. Consistent, stable, and Complete
   2. Your faith is not temporal or wavering to your:
      1. Emotions
      2. Situation
      3. Desires
   3. Wisdom resides above you

      1. Christ is the “Way, Truth, and Life,” If you pursue truth, then you pursue Christ and if you pursue Christ, you pursue truth.

   1. Narcisism in faith does not lead to wisdom
      1. It places yourself as the authority of wisdom/truth
      2. Christ is the “Way, Truth, and Life,” If you pursue truth, then you pursue Christ and if you pursue Christ, you pursue truth. Both of which, Christ is authority, not you
