• War in heaven: (Revelation 12:7-9) Michael/angels cast Satan down.
• Satan goes after Israel. (Revelation 12:13-16)

(Holy Spirit) And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. 28 You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my pple/I be your God.

37:4 O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. 6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”

2. Ezekiel preaches to the dry bones: Hears them coming together!
37:7 there was a sound, and behold, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 And I looked, and behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them. But there was no breath in them. 9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

3. Explanation:
11 Then he said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel. 13 And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people. 14 And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the Lord.”

Questions for reflection:
1. In the last days, Satan blinds unbelievers so they will reject the Gospel. What are some ways or tactics the devil uses to blind the world? (“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel.” 2 Cor. 4:4)
2. What are some ways that God’s promises to the Jews should encourage Gentiles?
3. Do you think God has a right to give land to a specific people group, or is the land up for grabs?
4. Is it possible for a nation to behave badly politically, and yet maintain God’s election? (Romans 11:29)
5. How are Ezekiel 36-37 an encouragement to us today?
6. In Revelation 12, the Dragon not only attacks Israel (the woman) but also the Church. What are some ways that the Dragon attacks Israel and the Church? How do we overcome the dragon?
7. Paul warned Christians not to become arrogant regarding the Jews. (he says, “wise” in our own eyes.) How might Christians be tempted toward arrogance? (Romans 11:25)
