5. What are some applications you see for Revelation 13-14?

–Evil will rise up in many forms. (Gov) (Church) (Culture)

–Christians should be prepared for opposition.

–God’s people must separate from worldliness.

–Mankind cannot invent a religion that will save us.

–Judgment is severe and wide.

–Salvation is sweet.

–Salvation involves: Victory over the world systems.

 

6. Read: Isa. 63:1-6

–How is God’s judgment like a grape harvest?

–How does John use imagery from judgment on Israel to the world?

7. Read Matthew 13:30-43.

–How does this compare tot he harvest described in Revelation 14:14-16.

–How is the coming of Christ like the gathering of harvest?

–What was Jesus’ intended application to this parable?

8. Who worships the first beast? Why? What is the relationship between the beast

and the dragon?

9. What physical characteristics of the beast from the sea are mentioned by John? (1-3)

– Having seven heads, ten horns upon which are ten crowns

– Upon his heads a blasphemous name

– Like a leopard, with feet like a bear and a mouth like a lion

– One of the heads with a mortal wound that had been healed

10. What are some ways Satan disguises himself?

Is it possible to worship the beast, and not know it’s the beast you are worshiping?
