Proverbs 23:7 NKJV
7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.

What you think about yourself, is what you will be.

When we say no to our bodies, it sharpens our minds, so we can change our soundtrack.

If you don’t like the pattern of your world, change what you are repeating in your life.

Either we take our thoughts captive, or our thoughts take us captive.

Luke 6:45 NIV45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

The words we use, reveal the condition of our heart.

“Not much of a house, just right for not much of a donkey.” ~Eeyore

“Could be worse. Not sure how, but it could be.” ~Eeyore

“It’s the only cloud in the sky and it’s drizzling, right on me. Somehow, I’m not surprised.” ~Eeyore

Changing our words can help change our thoughts.

James 3:3 NIV
3 When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal.

James 3:5 NIV
5 Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.

Ephesians 4:29 NIV
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Proverbs 21:23 NIV
23 Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.

Psalms 39:1 NIV
1 I said, “I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the presence of the wicked.”

I do not dishonor others. I am not self-seeking. I am not easily angered, I keep no record of wrongs. I rejoice with the truth. Because I walk in love, I choose to protect, trust, hope, persevere, and rejoice.

I have wisdom from God and know what to do in every situation. I lack nothing. God, loves, equips, and guides me.

God loves you and has a purpose for you, You are made in the image of a loving Father who cares for you and wants the best for you. You are not a mistake or an accident. That God knew you before you were formed in your mothers womb.

I do not have a spirit of fear but of love, power, and a sound mind. I am strong and courageous. I am not afraid or discouraged because I know God is with me wherever I go.

Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. I am more than a conqueror. I take negative thoughts captive and they submit to the authority of Jesus and His name.

I am loved, I am valued, God knew me before He formed me in my mother’s womb and He has a plan and purpose for my life.

My husband loves me and he lays down his life for me. My wife respects me and blesses me. Our children are becoming arrows in the hands of warriors and no weapon formed against them can prosper. Everything we put our hands to prospers.
