Have you ever thought about what you think about your thoughts?
Have you ever thought about how much we think?

The average person has about 6,000 thoughts per day.
6.25 thoughts per minute
1 thought every 10 seconds

The thoughts that pop into our heads are powerless. The thoughts we put on repeat that shape our lives.

Proverbs 23:7 NKJV
7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.“Eat and drink!” he says to you,But his heart is not with you.

What you think about yourself, is what you will be.

Matthew 15:19-20 NIV
19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

Our Thoughts Drive our Destiny
Our thoughts determine our beliefs,
Our beliefs determine our actions,
Our actions determine our destiny.

Which came first?
The chicken, or the egg?
Our thoughts on repeat, or our circumstances?

Romans 12:2 NIV
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Replace our current thoughts with what the Scriptures teach.

Philippians 4:13 NIV13

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

If you don’t like the pattern of your world, change what you are repeating in your life.

Hebrews 4:12 NIV
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

What repeats in your life, creates in your life.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heartand lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him,and he will make your paths straight.

Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Philippians 4:8 NIV
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

If you don’t like the pattern of your world, change what you are repeating in your life.

Write down what soundtrack you need to change.
Cross it out and write the soundtrack that will replace it.
