We don’t understand how to fight.

Ephesians 4:26-27
“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.

1. We deny our anger.

2. We justify sin because you are angry.

3. We stay angry too long.

Ephesians 4:15

…speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

Pillar 4: Purity in Marriage comes from Fighting in Love.

1. Confront in a loving and positive manner.

3. Listen to your spouse and believe them.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
