Genesis 1:2-3

And darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And God said, “Let there be light: and there was light.”

John 8:12

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 1:4

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

The worst darkness is Spiritual Darkness.

John 8:7

He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

John 8:10-12

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, “Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you?” She said, “No man, Lord.” And Jesus said unto her, “Neither do I: go, and sin no more.” Then Jesus spoke again unto them, saying, “I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

Genesis 1:3

And God said, “Let there be light: and there was light.”

The darker the dark, the brighter the bright.
