Introduction
God has placed His Church On Call—ready to go, ready to speak, ready to serve, and ready to answer whenever and wherever He leads. We must turn our attention toward the responsibility every believer has to make Jesus known. God’s words to Jeremiah still challenge us today: “Get up and prepare for action. Go out and tell them everything I tell you to say. Do not be afraid of them” (Jeremiah 1:17). The call of God is not reserved for pastors, missionaries, or those who travel across the world. Every follower of Jesus is called to courageously carry the Gospel into their homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and beyond. We will discover what it means to be prepared, obedient, courageous, and available to God. The question is not whether God is calling—it is whether we are listening.

Ready to Answer
2 Corinthians 5:14-21
1. We must control.
14 Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. 15 He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
What are you still holding back from Jesus?
2. We must see differently.
16 So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:16-17
What are you missing because you’re only seeing how it affects you?
3. We must available.
18 And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. 20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” 2 Corinthians 5:18-20
If God called today, what would make you hesitate?

Have served with Indigenous Church Network since it’s creation in 2013. Their mission is to equip church leaders and plant self-sustaining churches in Latin America. To date they have established 28 training centers in 8 countries and seen 51 churches planted as a result of their “Yes!” to God’s call in their lives.
Challenge:
Being on call means your answer to Jesus is already YES!
What do you need to change so that you are ready to say “Yes!”?
It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Isaiah 59:2a
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
Growth Challenge:
Every morning, ask God to help you act on your “Yes!”.
