(Isaiah 52:6 NLT) I will reveal my name to my people, and they will come to know its power.

(1 Samuel 17:45-47 NLT) David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies [Yahweh Tsaba]—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and thewhole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”

Yahweh Tsaba
The Lord of

(Exodus 14:14 NIV) The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.

Perspective Problems

(James 3:15 NIV) Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, and demonic.

(1 Samuel 17:24-25 NLT) As soon as the Israelite army saw him, they began to run away in fright. “Have you seen the giant?” the men asked.

(2 Kings 6:15-17 NIV) When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked. “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

.

(Luke 16:10-12 NLT) If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?

.

(1 Samuel 7:8 NLT) Goliath stood and shouted a taunt across to the Israelites. “Why are you all coming out to fight?” he called. “I am the Philistine champion, but you are only the servants of Saul.

(1 King 19:2-3 NLT) So Jezebel sent this message to Elijah: “May the gods strike me and even kill me if by this time tomorrow I have not killed you just as you killed them.” Elijah was afraid and fled for his life…

.

(Judges 6:14-15 NIV) “Pardon me, my lord,” Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is theweakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.”

(1 Kings 19:4) “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.”

(Judges 7:2-3,7 NIV) The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men. I cannot deliver Midian into their hands, or Israel would boast against me, ‘My own strength has saved me…The Lord said to Gideon, “With the three hundred…I will save you and give the Midianites into your hands. Let all the others go home.”

(Ecclesiastes 11:4 LB) If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.

  1. Faith shrinks .

(1 Samuel 17:48 NIV) As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him.

  1. Faith moves .

(Matthew 9:29 NIV) According to your faith let it be done to you.

  1. Faith unlocks .

(2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV) For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ.

  1. Faith gives .

(2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we’re not crushed and broken. We’re perplexed, but we don’t give up and quit. We’re attacked but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up and keep going!

  1. Faith opens .

(Matthew 13:58 NIV) And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

(Mark 11:22-24 CEV) Jesus said, “Have faith in God! If you have faith in God and you don’t doubt, you could tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea, and it would. Whatever you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have the faith.”
