Part 1: The Power of His Name

(Psalm 86:11 NIV) Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.

(Psalm 29:2 NIV) Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

The Foundational Names of God

Surrendering to God as Adonai is the key

to experience the revelation of Jehovah.

(Luke 6:46 NIV) Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

(Romans 10:9-10 NIV) If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

You must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to go to Heaven,

but you must confess the Lord Jesus Christ to get Heaven down to you on earth.

How should we respond to God?
