Success – What does true success look like

Matthew 5:6

  • Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied (filled).

Righteousness in a deeper spiritual meaning is :

  1. Character
  2. Attitude
  3. Conduct
  4. Words
  5. Our LIFE

Proverbs 2:4

For if you cry out for insight,
And [a]raise your voice for understanding;
If you seek her as silver
And search for her as for ;
Then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
And discover the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 15:9

  • The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but He loves one who pursues righteousness.

Proverbs 21:3

  • To do righteousness and justice is desired by the Lord more than sacrifice.

Proverbs 21:21

  • He who pursues righteousness and loyalty finds life, righteousness and honor.

Success…is being faithful to God today!!!  (Craig Groeschel)

It’s about you are VS. you do!!!

1. ?

:

    • Time for Treasure
    • Memories for Money
    • Priorities for Prestige
    • Faith for Fleeting Pursuits

This isn’t just about a “spiritual filter”…It’s about “life transformation”.

Matthew 6:25-34

25 “For this reason I say to you, [a]do not be worried about your [b]life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they? 27 And which of you by worrying can add a single [c]day to his [d]life’s span? 28 And why are you worried about clothing? Notice how the lilies of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin thread for cloth,29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! 31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’ 32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But [e]seek first [f]His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be [g]provided to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will [h]worry about itself. [i]Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Are you running to the World or to God?
(Eternal Vs. Temporary)

We all have a God-shaped hole in the middle of our heart.
