MATTHEW 25:24-25
24 “Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate. 25 I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’
When we choose a fear based mindset we miss the
- The enemy would love you to walk in .
- To miss the possibilities.
- To think .
- To have beliefs that sound spiritual but give you permission to do nothing.
- To treat what God has given you with .
Courage overcomes the the battle
1 SAMUEL 17:28
“Why have you come down here? And with whom did you leave those few sheep in the wilderness? I know how conceited you are and how wicked your heart is; you came down only to watch the battle.”
1 SAMUEL 17:34-37
34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, 35 I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. 36 Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. 37 The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.”
- Courage overcomes
- Courage what’s possible
- Courage is one battle at a time
- Courage sees when their has shown up
- Courage uses its specially developed to take that giant down
If we lack courage… we can look to a savior
Hebrews 12:2-3 (NIRV)
2 Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the one who started this journey of faith. And he is the one who completes the journey of faith. He paid no attention to the shame of the cross. He suffered there because of the joy he was looking forward to. Then he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 He made it through these attacks by sinners. So think about him. Then you won’t get tired. You won’t lose hope.
