The Day Hope Rolled In | Easter At Bonita Valley

April 5, 2026

The Stone Rolled Away —

And Hope Rolled In

THE FIRST PLACE HOPE ROLLS INTO —

That Feel Final

God’s promises still stand —

His purposes still prevail.

A SECOND PLACE HOPE ROLLS INTO —

Who Feel Disqualified

Mark 16:7 (NIV)

“Go, tell His disciples … and Peter, He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.”

Disqualification isn’t declared by God —

it’s something we decide about ourselves.

Our failures are not final —

not because they’re small —

but because Jesus is greater.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (MSG)

Anyone united with Christ gets a — fresh start — is created new.

Romans 11:29 (NCV)

God never changes his mind about the people he calls and the things he gives them.

A THIRD PLACE HOPE ROLLS INTO —

That Feel Closed

John 21:3 (NLT)

Peter said, “I’m going fishing.”

“We’ll come, too,” they all said.

So they went out in the boat — but they caught nothing all night.

Going back — never moves us — forward

Hope doesn’t just say — your past is forgiven —

Hope says — you still have a future.

Resurrection Hope Rolls Into —

  • that feel final
  • who feel disqualified
  • that feel closed

The Hope We Need Isn’t In Having Everything Figured Out —

It’s In Loving And Following The One Who Does!
