Our thankfulness is enhanced by recognizing and remembering – God’s !

Psalm 103:2-5 (NIV)
Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits — 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, 5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Our thankfulness is enhanced by recognizing and remembering – God is my ultimate !

James 1:17 (NIV)

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

James 1:17 (MSG)

Every beneficial gift comes out of heaven …

John 6:11 (NLT)

Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks to God, and distributed them to the people. Afterward he did the same (gave thanks again) with the fish. And they all ate as much as they wanted.

John 11:41 (NLT)

(At the tomb of Lazarus) — So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me.

Matthew 26:26-28 (NIV)

Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Thankfulness is enhanced by recognizing and remembering – I am a !

1 Corinthians 4:7 (NLT)
What do you have
that God hasn’t given you? And if everything you have is from God, why boast as though it were not a gift?

Romans 1:20-22 (NLT)

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made (eternal benefactor), they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature … 21 they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools.

Dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it (not yet arrived), but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
