Don’t slip back into your old ways of living … ¹⁵ But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. ¹⁶ For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”

We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Working definition of “Holiness” —

Sin is rebelling against God’s will and ways, holiness is rebelling against the world’s will and ways and living out God’s!
