Jesus’ Palm Sunday Parade Was – God !

John 7:3-6 (NLT)

Jesus’ brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea, where your followers can see your miracles! ⁴ You can’t become famous if you hide like this! If you can do such wonderful things, show yourself to the world!” ⁵ For even his brothers didn’t believe in him.

⁶ Jesus replied, “Now is not the right time for me to go, but you can go anytime.

Exodus 12:3-7 (NLT)

(The Lord said to Moses) — Announce to the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month (the month of Nisan) each family must choose a lamb or a young goat for a sacrifice…

⁵ The animal you select must be a one-year-old male, either a sheep or a goat, with no defects. ⁶ Take special care of this chosen animal until the evening of the fourteenth day of this first month. Then the whole assembly of the community of Israel must slaughter their lamb or young goat at twilight.

⁷ They are to take some of the blood and smear it on the sides and top of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the animal.

Matthew 21:2 (NLT)

“Go into the village over there,” he said. “As soon as you enter it, you will see a donkey tied there, with its colt beside it. Untie them and bring them to me. ³ If anyone asks what you are doing, just say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will immediately let you take them.”

Zechariah 9:9 (NLT)

Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey— riding on a donkey’s colt.

Jesus’ Palm Sunday Purpose Is – Challenging!

Luke 7:20 (NLT)

John’s two disciples found Jesus and said to him, “John the Baptist sent us to ask, ‘Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?’”

Luke 7:22-23 (NLT)

“Go back to John and tell him what you have seen and heard—the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor. ²³ And tell him, ‘God blesses those who do not turn away because of me.’”
