There are 2 types of people:

Type #1 People who that feel they do not qualify

Genesis 1:2 NKJV

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Formless – lie waste, desolation, worthless, confusion, empty

Empty (void) – ruin

Darkness – misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness, obscurity

Hovering – to brood

Type #2 People who feel okay but have not actively pursued 

Luke 1:35 NKJV

And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

Acts 1:8 New King James Version

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Luke 11:13 New King James Version

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
