[2] God wants us to know… healing is for him

[3] God wants us to know… healing was bought for us with the of the cross

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24 New Living Translation

He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.

[4] is a greater work than supernatural works on earth

[5] There are some why we may not receive healing

• Our negative thoughts and words can block the work of God

• Remaining in ways

• God is using our to work a greater power through us

⁷ God has shown me amazing and wonderful things. People should not think more of me because of it. So I wouldn’t become proud of myself, I was given a problem. This problem caused pain in my body. It is a messenger from Satan to make me suffer. ⁸ Three times I begged the Lord to take it away from me. ⁹ But he said to me, “My grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” So I am very happy to brag about how weak I am. Then Christ’s power can rest on me.

[6] We should seek healing…

14 Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders (spiritual leaders) of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15 and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
