Influencing Choice #1:

Godly influencers boost their !

 

Daniel 6:2,3 (NLT)

The king … chose Daniel and two others as administrators to supervise the high officers and protect the king’s interests. 3 Daniel soon proved himself more capable than all the other administrators and high officers. Because of Daniel’s great ability, the king made plans to place him over the entire empire.

Do yourself a favor and learn all you can; then remember what you learn and you will prosper.

Influencing Choice #2:

Godly influencers develop their !

 

Character is the will to do what is right, as defined by God, regardless of personal cost!”

Then the other administrators and high officers began searching for some fault in the way Daniel was handling government affairs, but they couldn’t find anything to criticize or condemn. He was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy.

 

Influencing Choice #3:

Godly influencers act !

 

Daniel 6:10 (NLT)
Daniel … went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.

I was very much afraid, 3 but I said to the king, “May the king live forever! Why should my face not look sad when the city where my ancestors are buried lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire?”

So at last the king gave orders for Daniel to be arrested and thrown into the den of lions. The king said to him, “May your God, whom you serve so faithfully, rescue you.”
17 A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den. The king sealed the stone with his own royal seal and the seals of his nobles, so that no one could rescue Daniel. 18 Then the king returned to his palace and spent the night fasting. He refused his usual entertainment and couldn’t sleep at all that night.

 

Influencing Choice #4:

Godly influencers choose to be God-!

 

Daniel 6:19-23 (NLT)

Very early the next morning, the king got up and hurried out to the lions’ den. 20 When he got there, he called out in anguish, “Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue you from the lions?”

21 Daniel answered, “Long live the king! 22 My God sent his angel to shut the lions’ mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.”

23 The king was overjoyed and ordered that Daniel be lifted from the den. Not a scratch was found on him, for he had trusted in his God.

For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.

 

Influencing Choice #5:

Godly influencers are respectful -makers!

 

Daniel 6:25-28 (MSG)

King Darius published this proclamation to every race, color, and creed on earth: Peace to you! Abundant peace! 26 I decree that Daniel’s God shall be worshiped and feared in all parts of my kingdom. He is the living God, world without end. His kingdom never falls. His rule continues eternally. 27 He is a savior and rescuer. He performs astonishing miracles in heaven and on earth. He saved Daniel from the power of the lions.

28 From then on, Daniel was treated well (prospered) during the reign of Darius, and also in the following reign of Cyrus the Persian.

 

Matthew 2:1-2 (NLT)

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, 2 Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.”
