Ephesians 6:18-20 (NIV)

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Ephesians 1:15-17 (NLT)

Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, 16 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.

2 Timothy 1:3 (NIV)

I thank God, whom I serve, as did my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.

Romans 1:9-10 (NIV)

God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you 10 in my prayers at all times;

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

[1] No matter what circumstance Paul was in… lots of prayer kept his !

  • Prayer the soul

  • We need people

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NIV)

9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:

10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?

12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

[2] Prayer doesn’t just super charge us… it super charges !

Ephesians 6:19-20 (NIV)

19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

[3] The enemy’s plan always includes !

Genesis 3:9-12 (NIV)

But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”

12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

John 10:10 (AB)

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

[4] Jesus came that we might be reconnected!

John 14:6 (CEV)

“I am the way, the truth, and the life!” Jesus answered. “Without me, no one can go to the Father.

  • He is a God who came for !

Luke 15:3-4 (NIV)

Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?

  • He is a God who for you!

Luke 15:8 (NIV)

“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?

  • He is a God who came when you came !

Luke 15:20 (NIV)

20 So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

  • And he is a God who throws a in heaven when to him!

Luke 15:7, 10 (NIV)

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent… 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

  • Through Jesus we have we need!

2 Corinthians 5:18 (CEV)

18 God has done it all! He sent Christ to make peace between himself and us, and he has given us the work of making peace between himself and others.

[5] There is when we connect with each other in prayer!

James 5:16-18 (LB)

16 Admit your faults to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous man has great power and wonderful results. 17 Elijah was as completely human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for the next three and a half years! 18 Then he prayed again, this time that it would rain, and down it poured, and the grass turned green and the gardens began to grow again.
