Psalm 100: A Psalm of Thanksgiving

The unique privilege of every child of God is that the head filled with truth gives its hand to the heart full of passion, and they two walk together in truth and spirit. Psalm 100 is a perfect specimen to examine that illustrates this point. Here, the heights of knowledge and the depth of devotion and passion are united in a great anthem of worship and thankfulness. So look now to your heart, and instruct it. Take hold of the hand of your intellect and let it lead you. And say now to your mind, pay attention and receive the truth that alone can guide you into all righteousness. And tell them to walk in unity so that you may worship as you walk in spirit and in truth.

2. You Are Invited to Worship God in His Truth
   1. Our worship is inspired by the truth that we worship the one true God.
   2. Our worship is inspired  by the truth that He created us.
   3. Our worship is inspired by the truth that He posseses us.
   4. Our worship is inspired by the truth that He is good and faithful.

   1. Enter His gates with thanksgiving. Give thanks to Him; bless His name.
   2. Why? It’s a present experience of future realities. When you get to heaven, praise will absorb prayer and replace it as the one and only mode of adoration.
